Traumatic experiences may become trapped deep within the body, with those who are affected sometimes completely unaware of the existence of unresolved trauma, resulting in anxiety and stress.  Yoga can support recovery by developing body awareness and mindfulness, safety in the body and  more. Learn safe practices to work with trauma, anxiety and stress from a yoga philosophical perspectives combined with modern modalities working with body and mind.

Svastha Yoga Therapy

This professional program on yoga therapy brings you the most effective aspects of traditional yoga (based on the teachings of Krishnamacharya) and Ayurveda combined with modern medicine. Designed especially for yoga teachers and advanced practitioners, the program should also be of interest to people from related fields.

Specific guidelines for different conditions and general treatment principles will be detailed, empowering you to safely and effectively address disabilities and ill-health through yoga. The goal is to enable participants to integrate newly acquired knowledge immediately in their teaching, particularly in private sessions.

The program is delivered in 7 intensive modules (5 days for each module) with a flexible structure. Each module may be attended independently and certificates will be issued for each module.

This module is good for a 40h certificate of yoga alliance and counts towards the total of 500h certificate with Svastha Yoga and Ayurveda.

You will also receive a certificate of participation from Network Yoga Therapy.


Every student of Anneke, is invited to 'The Bridge' membership. So, you as student of the Svastha Yoga Therapy modules too. The Bridge is an online space where we meet for weekly practice sessions and monthly meet-ups. Anneke Sips is a Svastha Yoga Teacher (YACEP) and Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) who has been working in the field of psychiatry since 1998 as registered nurse. Now, she works in psychiatry as a yoga therapist.

With her holistic and compassionate approach, she supports many clients in private sessions and group therapy. She is passionate about supporting clients and students integrating yoga in their life and work She enjoys studying with the Mohan family and teaching the Svastha programs.
